Methodology	The State Infrastructure Index dataset is compiled by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, based on data collected through the Mission Antyodaya Survey. The survey is conducted in rural areas of the country and collects data on a range of socio-economic indicators, including infrastructure status. The data is collected through a combination of household surveys and direct observations of infrastructure in the area. The data is then aggregated at the state level to create the State Infrastructure Index. The dataset is updated periodically to reflect changes in the infrastructure status of different states
