MethodologyThe data originates from the official statistical reporting system of the Election Commission of India (ECI) and is compiled from constituency-level election returns submitted after the completion of polling and counting. Results are captured from official constituency records, validated through the ECI’s election reporting framework, and standardised into structured statistical reports. The unit of aggregation is the parliamentary constituency within each state and election year. Gender-wise counts, party affiliation, candidate names, and summary vote metrics are reported as part of the official post-election statistical publication process.
