Mudra Loans

The Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), commonly known as Mudra Loans, is an initiative launched by the Government of India to facilitate micro-credit to non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises. Introduced under the Micro Units Development & Refinance Agency Ltd. (MUDRA), the scheme offers loans categorized into three products: Shishu (loans up to ₹50,000), Kishore (loans from ₹50,000 to ₹5 lakh), and Tarun (loans from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh). PMMY aims to empower budding entrepreneurs, especially from marginalized sections, by providing them with financial support without the need for collateral. The initiative plays a pivotal role in fostering grassroots entrepreneurship and bolstering the Indian economy.
