PMFBY District Level
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) is a crop insurance scheme launched by the Government of India in 2016 to provide insurance coverage and financial support to farmers in case of crop loss or damage due to natural calamities, pests, or diseases. The scheme aims to ensure that farmers have access to affordable insurance coverage, and to reduce the financial risks associated with crop failures. It covers almost all crops grown in India and provides financial assistance to farmers in case of crop loss or damage.
