Land Use Statistics

The Land Use Statistics (LUS) package is a comprehensive collection of official agricultural land use data published by the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Government of India. It captures how land is utilized across different categories such as cropped area, irrigated land, fallow land, forests, and non agricultural uses. The dataset is compiled annually using administrative land records and standardized classification systems.
